Welcome to MindWinder’s Multimedia training Center
You might be thinking “What kind of a name is MindWinder for a training center?” Well the history behind the name goes as follows. Back in “87″ I gathered a few artistic and creative friends together to help me “brainstorm” a name for my studio that I was forming. We brainstormed for about 6 hours in the comic bookstore I owned back then and at the end of the day and after throwing out a few thousand different names we had nothing that sounded just right. Then we heard a little voice say “How about MindWinder?”. We all looked at each other with a grin and said “That’s it ! MindWinder Studios”. That name came from my 6 year old daughter who w
as lying under the table reading Archie Comics. I asked her how she came up with that. Her reply was “Dad, I’ve been laying here all day listening to your minds wind and wind all day. What you got is a mindwinder.” We thought about it and she was right, minds of creative people just go on and on, it’s the creative process.
That little girl is now all grown up, and the owner of her own design studio “Krystal Visions”, and also my partner in this endeavor to help impart our knowledge and experience thru a series of workshops to anyone that wants to expand their creative ability thru the use of computers.
